Showglass installs several interactive screens in the Herpetofauna Center of the Sierra de Madrid

Showglass, company that is part of the Kontroltek Group Integration and Development, dedicated to the distribution of dynamic digital advertising systems and tactile information systems, has provided two interactive points and a multimedia screen to the Center for Captive Breeding of Threatened Amphibians that the Community of Madrid has in the Natural Park of Peñalara.

Showglass, belonging to the company Kontroltek I+D, has carried out the installation of two interactive points and a multimedia screen in the Center for Captive Breeding of Threatened Amphibians that the Community of Madrid has in the Puente del Perdón, in Rascafría, an ambitious project that aims to recover the populations of endangered amphibians in the Sierra de Guadarrama and improve the conservation status of the rest of the species of this group, as well as developing research on the biology of these vertebrates.

The Ministry of Environment and Territorial Planning of the regional government also uses these facilities for scientific dissemination on the problem of amphibians in the Sierra de Guadarrama and around the world. To do this, one of Showglass' points is 19″, with projected capacitive interactive technology, thus achieving its use as if it were a showcase. This point has a playful application, with which visitors to the center can answer different questions about the fauna of the area. The other interactive point is to give information about the amphibians that inhabit the Upper Manzanares Basin. Through interactivity, You can browse the information. The information point has the adaptation of the audio through helmets so that the user is immersed in the fascinating world of herpetofauna. Finally a multimedia screen of 42 has been installed″, with directed speakers. The visitor, by means of a button, Activate a video in high definition (Hd) that teleports you to the surroundings of the area. The multimedia screen is arranged from a computer to play the videos, with a simple update system.
