The manufacturer of audio control systems, High-end video and home automation, Crestron, has expanded the range of DigitalMedia DMPS presentation systems with two new models: DMPS-200-C and DMPS-100-C, offering the same combined control system power and an integrated 6×2 and 4×1 multimedia array, respectively.

Creston has added to its DigitalMedia presentation system two new models, DMPS-200-C and DMPS-100-C, that offer the combined power of system control, A Media Matrix Switcher, Microphone Mixer, Audio DSP and an amplifier in a rackmount package of 3 Spaces for smaller-scale projects.

These latest additions are complete control routing and presentation signal solutions that are well suited for boardrooms., Classrooms and conference rooms. Provide flexible signal routing and high-performance signal processing without the need for separate components, saving time and space for installers on every project. The new 200-C has a switcher 6×2, while the 100-C model incorporates a 4×1 (6 Sources A 2 screens and 4 Sources to a screen, respectively).

Robin van Meeuwen, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Crestron International, has indicated: “The latest additions to the DMPS range, like the 300-C, can handle both all-digital sources and virtually any combination of HDMI sources, rgb, SPDIF, analog audio and analog video. Auto-detection and switching eliminate the need to configure sources, so installers can simply plug in the inputs and DMPS drives will select the correct audio and video combinations”.

With the new generation of built-in DigitalMedia 8G+ single cable technology, New DMPS units intelligently simplify cabling for audio and video sources, Remote computers and displays, allowing any combination of digital and analog signals to be carried over long distances via CAT5e cable or Crestron DigitalMedia fiber. By eliminating the need for numerous separate components and the installation/integration issues that accompany them, 100-C and 200-C provide a digital AV presentation solution for corporate and education environments.

Robin van Meeuwen added: “The DMPS-300-C has done a great job of combining our MPS technology with our cutting-edge DigitalMedia solutions.. With the new models, We are offering the same capabilities and benefits for end users and installers, as well as for smaller installations in which the volume of the display screens is lower”.
