InControl is the first mobile app to have developed Christie to manage and control, remotely your projectors. This app, presented at InfoComm 2013, is intended for customers in the rental and assembly sector who use their Christie DLP projectors 3 M and J series chips, and for apps like fairs, live shows and videomapping. Fixed facilities in classrooms and conference rooms, government offices and museums, are other applications that will benefit from this tool.

The Christie InControl application offers a user interface that is very easy to use from gifts to manipulate the main functions that are required to operate a projector, like on/off, shutter control, selection of test and target patterns and focus, plus other more advanced features like color management and 2D keystone.

Christie CHRI3339 HD14KMIt is also possible to adjust the zoom, focus or target position from anywhere within range of the Wi-Fi network, making setup easier in large-premises environments.

Other settings it allows are positioning through a joystick interface or typing specific x/y values.

Christie InControl allows you to manage from a mobile terminal (iOS compatible 5.1 or overcome like iPad, iPhone or iPod) one or more projectors over Wi-Fi. "Users will be able to search for available projectors on their local Wi-Fi network and then add them to a group, or type directly the IP address of the projector they want to locate. This app offers a flexible alternative to remote infrared projectors that can sometimes be out of range or misplaced", explains Joel St-Denis, Christie's value-added product manager.
