The audio manufacturer Denon has signed a contract with the multinational automobile company Citroën to integrate an exclusive high-quality sound system in the new models of the French brand.

Ten speakers and a high-quality digital amplifier make up the new sound system that Denon will integrate into C4 car models, DS4 and DS5 of the French firm Citroën, the result of the agreement between both companies and which sets a precedent for innovation in audio in the automotive sector.

To break the spiral of large, heavy professional sound systems that require more power, this Hi-Fi sound system has been developed with lightweight and high-efficiency audio components, also be designed for the style of each model of car where it has been integrated.

Denon CitroenConsisting of ten speakers and a digital amplifier, the integration of the audio system has been a challenge to maintain the high quality of the sound. Like this, the tweeters are located at the front of the vehicle and feature a soft dome and resonance chambers with the aim of minimizing sound distortion.

On the car doors are the CosCone woofers, of reduced weight and size, offering high sensitivity and wide-moving cones. The subwoofer has a power of 100 watts and is located in the trunk of the vehicle. To this is added the digital amplifier, configured by 10 channels 50 watts each, to which is added a central speaker located on the dashboard.

Another peculiarity of this sound system integrated into a car is that the equalization and volume are automatically adjusted depending on the speed of the car. while, the distribution of the sound has two effective presets so that it reaches the driver in the same way as the rest of the passengers.
