Arecont Vision increases to 40 megapixels its range of video surveillance Surround Video

The Surround Video series of the manufacturer Arecont Vision has a new model of IP camera of 40 megapixel day/night that offers panoramic views of 180 Degrees.

The manufacturer of IP video surveillance Arecont Vision has added to its Surround Video series a new 'all-in-one' IP camera: V40185DN that offers up to 40 megapixel day/night with high resolution panoramas of 180 degrees for video surveillance of large areas.

This comprehensive solution is an effective and economical solution, since with a single panoramic device of this series you can monitor with all the guarantees a large area that, otherwise, would need to be covered with several PTZ models.

This model is the fourth generation of megapixel cameras of the company of its Surround Video series, composed so far of 8 until 20 megapixel, in panoramic configurations of 180 and 360 grades with dual encoder H.264 and MJPEG, and IP66 adverse weather resistant housings.

Thanks to the integration of the SurroundVideo multisensor, a single panoramic camera can replace up to twenty-four conventional devices, with the ability to expand the visual field of protection to offer forensic detail, even in low-light conditions.

The camera also offers several mounting options (surface, wall, pendant or ceiling) and its day/night switches switch simultaneously for superior low-light or low-light or night performance, taking into account the less illuminated sensor. For environments with very low light you can add infrared lighting.
