The SIMO Network technology fair 2013, that will open its doors at the fairgrounds of Madrid of the 15 to the 17 October, It has as a novelty a space dedicated to the latest technologies applied to education.

SIMO Education is the new space dedicated exclusively to this industry that will be held within the framework of edition 2013 of SIMO Network, that will take place in the 15 to the 17 October at IFEMA, and that has been organized by this institution and Education 3.0.

Visual Crambo educationThe latest developments in technologies applied to digital education from manufacturers such as Inves, Epson, NEC Display, Panasonic, Sharp, Intel, Optoma, Smart Technologies, Mimio, among others, some of them represented by wholesalers and distributors such as Charmex, Crambo, Comm Audiovisual, Tech Data or Posiflex, among others, will be displayed at the different stands.

This exhibition area will be complemented during the three days of the event with a conference program, Round tables and practical workshops with the participation of experts in this sector, that will culminate with the delivery of the first SIMO Education awards to recognize companies and professionals that favor the development and implementation of ICT solutions in the educational field.

Conferences and augmented reality applications

Children's Literature Augmented Reality 1Applications developed around education, such as those that integrate augmented reality technology, will have great prominence in the so-called Corner of the apps, with exchange of experiences and knowledge between developers, Publishers and teachers.

Also the conference program will dedicate some presentations to educational applications with augmented reality technology, like the one that Raúl Reinoso will give, promoter of the aumenta.me project and the TecnoTIC portal, and Esteban Anguita, LabHuman Chief Innovation Officer.

Topics such as 'Online resources and the pending revolution of textbooks', 'Present and future of ICT implementation in Spain' or 'Teacher training: present and future', will be analyzed and debated in the different round tables of SIMO Education.

To this is also added a presentation area to learn about practical experiences in the educational field and projects such as 'Dedos', developed by the Rey Juan Carlos and Autónoma de Madrid universities and the Down Syndrome Foundation, which is a free software that allows you to create different types of educational activities that can be used on different devices (Computers, Digital whiteboards and interactive digital tables, Etc).

For its part, Hands-on workshops will allow teachers to learn how to build a personal learning environment (PLE) or how to take advantage of robots in the classroom or create, Publish and share educational apps with students, among others.
