Forecasts suggest that in three years videoconferencing will become the preferred collaboration tool in the business world. This is evidenced by the survey "Global View": Business Video Conferencing Usage and Trends" conducted by Polycom and Redshift to 1.205 Managers from twelve countries.

According to the results of this study, the 96% of business leaders believe that video conferencing removes distance barriers and improves productivity between teams in different cities and countries.

The study also showed that desktops and laptops are the most popular devices in the video conferencing business. (75%), followed by conference rooms (48%) and mobile devices (42% hundred).
