Canon is partnering with Nedap to unite its security solutions and offer a comprehensive IP video surveillance platform. In this way, becomes Nedap's hardware security partner.

The alliance signed with Nedap allows the full range of network cameras to canon be available to Nedap customers thanks to compatibility with its security management software (Aeos), providing a powerful video management package to system integrators and end users.

Accreditation will bring many benefits to system integrators and customers, by expanding Canon's suite of integrated image analytics solutions, in addition to being compatible with its entire range of IP video surveillance cameras. This range includes the latest models of cameras of the Full HD and Ultra Compact S series.

"Nedap's Aeos software is compatible with our current security equipment including our M and H series cameras., as well as new additions. This is good news for our customers as their security solution will be fully optimized at all times and with the highest quality.", comments Julian Rutland, Director of Product Planning and Strategy in Canon's Network Security Camera Division.

The Nedap Aeos security management software will rely on these analytics to provide functionalities for access control, intrusion detection, video management and access management on a single integrated platform.

Canon S Series Security Cameras

Existing Nedap customers already using the Aeos solution for video management can upgrade to any of Canon's models. The integrated platform will also support future additions to Canon's range of IP video surveillance cameras.
