At the Analog Way stand at ISE 2014, Eikos2 and Saphyr integration into Midra platform's Seamless Scaling Matrix Switchers solution will be showcased.

Eikos 2 (EKS550)

Analog Way has completed its Midra series of Seamless Scaling Matrix Switchers with the addition of Eikos2 and Saphyr. These products will be exhibited at the Integrated Systems Europe fair 2014 (booth 11-F58), which will begin next Tuesday 4 and will conclude on Thursday 6, in Amsterdam.

Both the Eikos2 and Saphyr can be used as video mixers or as native arrays with different operating capabilities..

Eikos2 (EKS550) and Saphyr (SPX450) offer connectivity with 10 entries and 16 Input connectors, including 4xDVI-D, 4xHDMI and 4x3G-SDI. Systems can operate fast and switch seamlessly between any of their 16 Tickets, Fast switching and no synchronization loss.

Both systems have two outputs (Previous and Program) and a video output with both digital and analog connectivity. A preview in Mosaic mode with two modes is available on both models and EDID management is standard for all sources. In addition, Eikos2 features a Quadravision mode with 4 layers on a background and the Quick Frame function that can hide the other layers. Pressing a simple button allows you to return to the previous screen.

Both systems offer a variety of effects and transitions between layers. Eikos2 offers up to 34 Seamless transitions, including circle, Stretching and depth. Audio can be embedded or unembedded in HDMI and DVI-D connectors, and work as audio follows video or standalone.

Eikos and SaphyrRK-350 Remote Controller

Eikos2 and Saphyr can be controlled via the RK-350, A new remote controller, or the RCS2, with an easy-to-use and intuitive graphical interface designed for the Midra series.

As an AIR application, RCS2 is compatible with Windows, Mac OS and Linux. It has three main sections to configure and control the units: configuration, Edit & Live.

To facilitate the ease of integration of the Midra series, Analog Way offers a complete package of controllers for easy integration through Crestron and AMX control systems.
