The firm Codylost has developed a system, based on QR technology, that recognizes the owner of an object so that it can be recovered anywhere in the world, either by loss or theft.

Office lost and found Madrid

Only in Madrid there are some 90.000 objects lost and guarded by the City Council. Of those who are claimed, a high percentage are not returned to their owners because they do not have an invoice or any other document that proves that the object is theirs, so there is a lot that are not recovered.

The Spanish company Codylost has created an identification system with QR code that facilitates the recovery of objects against possible loss, while making theft more difficult and making counterfeiting impossible.

By scanning a product registered with this QR code you will be able to know who it belongs to, being able to contact its owner by the different ways proposed by the owner (telephone, email and SMS) or maintain anonymity by contacting Codylost's email.

Codylost offers a security system to manufacturers and marketing companies of different products (Bags, Bags, Phones, cameras, video, Computers, Bicycles, Motorcycles...) marking them with laser or other permanent technology and making them exclusive. In this way, copies shall be prevented from being made, it will be difficult to subtract and will favor the return in case of loss.

a red dot will flash if the object has been lost and can be returned thanks to the personal contact information it contains, as well as the product itself, For example, brand, model, serial number or images of the product that will help your identification.

The tab also has private space, where you can save the image of the purchase invoice, very useful at the time of putting a report and essential to recover the item before the police or in a lost and found office.
