The digital signage industry in Spain and Portugal is currently showing a positive and upward trend over the next six months, according to data from the DooH Business Climate Index (DBCI) obtained in the survey carried out by Ovab Europa and Invidis Consulting to companies in this sector operating in the Iberian market.

The DBCI, benchmark in the digital signage and digital out of home sector in Europe in partnership with Ovab Europe E Invidis Consulting, has published the results of the survey carried out last July and August to measure the current situation and future forecasts (to six months) of the digital signage industry in Spain and Portugal.

After more than two years of recession, Economic investments have been gradually increasing since the third quarter of the year. 2013, to the point that the DBCI is at 42,83 Basic Points, with a positive trend on the part of companies in the digital signage industry operating in the Iberian market, the ninth largest in this industry in Europe.

According to the data collected in the survey, one 76,2% of the participating companies have a positive business outlook for the next six months; one 28,6 believes that the situation is good for the sector and that a 14,3% considers that the current economic situation is still negative.

This positive trend is due to the, According to the analysis of the sample, increasing companies' cash flow within their budgeting strategy, What Digital Signage Projects Depend On (hardware, software, services,...), mainly in retail and shopping centers environments as the two most important vertical markets in Spain and Portugal in the adoption of this technology.

On the other hand, Ovab Europe, in collaboration with Invidis Consulting, will celebrate the next 17 and 18 the eighth edition of the Munich Digital Signage Conference in September.
