Belgian manufacturer Barco has added a new three-chip DLP projector model to the RLM product family, the RLM-W12, with a luminous power of 11.500 lumens and a WUXGA resolution (1920×1200).

ship has added a new member to its RLM family of very quiet three-chip DLP projectors. Similar to its smaller cousins W6 and G8, the new RLM-W12 offers WUXGA resolution (1920×1200), combined with low operating costs and energy consumption. Thanks to its standard 3D capabilities, low noise and 11.500 Lumens, the RLM-W12 is suitable for conference rooms and presentations, infotainment applications and event spaces.

Alexis Skatchkoff, barco product manager, pointed out that “by adding a brighter unit to our family of RLM projectors, now we can cover the entire spectrum of silent projectors for fixed installations, ranging from 6.000 to 11.500 Lumens. In this way, we are better able to meet customer demands for compact, brighter projection systems”.

3D active

Since the RLM-W12 incorporates standard active 3D capabilities, easy playback of 3D content is guaranteed. In addition, The TLD lenses of the RLM-W12 are fully compatible with Barco's range of HDX and FLM projectors. The new RLM-W12 is well suited for fixed installations in auditoriums and conference rooms, and thanks to optional ceiling mounting and stack handling, can also be used for events.

Great image quality

RLM family of three-chip DLP projectors generates sharp images with more stability, richer contrast and better color saturation. Thanks to its noise reduction and energy-saving design, the RLM consumes a 33% less than projectors of its kind. They are also compatible with a wide range of traditional control devices, as well as with the Barco Projector Toolset software that allows you to easily control the projector anywhere and at any time.
