Samsung has reached an agreement with the Spanish Basketball Federation (feb) by virtue of which it becomes a technological sponsor of Space 14, a new building located in Alcobendas (Madrid) which will host the Organizing Committee of the World Cup of 2014, place of concentration of the National Team and will include exhibition areas for products of the South Korean brand.

Samsung will implement its latest technologies in Space 14, a new sports venue located in the Madrid town of Alcobendas that will host the Mundobasket Office 2014, with an operational office and an organizational delegation of the events of the Basketball World Cup to be held in Spain in two years' time. In addition, space 14 will house the Basketball Museum, where there will be a tour of the history of Spanish basketball. From that European of Geneva 35, where the National Team reached silver, up to the two continental titles won in the European Championships in Poland 2009 -with Llull's shirt, the debutant in that tournament- and Lithuania 2011 (with Ibaka's).

Facilities, which will be inaugurated in September, have a recreational part with baskets, toys, player dolls and video games about basketball. Another of the references of the new space will be the NBA Center, with interactive activities for children and a basketball playroom that will bear the name of 'Samsung Basketball Playroom'. There will also be the existing Ferrándiz-AS Forum and its conferences, where the greatest claims of the sport participate at national and international level. likewise, the building will include the headquarters of the FEB Foundation, a FIBA Techno Center, exhibition areas for Samsung products, and will be the place of concentration of the national teams.

As for the activities, it is contemplated by the organization to carry out more than 300 annual activities in Space 14, where among others, Highlights, the training of the national teams, the higher coaching courses, concentration of talent operation, permanent headquarters of the B3 league intercompany, FIBA technical partner meetings, official FEB and World Cup press conferences 2014 or CSD meetings with sports federations.
