Ri8-D Ro8-D

Yamaha Commercial Audio has announced the launch of its Ri8-D and Ro8-D input and output rack units. Complementing the units for the CL Rio3224-D and Rio1608-D i/o series, the new Ri-8D and Ro8-D save space in 1RU, being possible to have inputs where only inputs are needed and outputs where only outputs are needed, or a combination of both.

The new Ri-8D and Ro8-D offer great audio quality. Component selection, construction, circuit design, power supply... have been taken care of in the smallest detail, combined with comprehensive performance and hearing tests at every stage of development. The result is a very natural sound.

The Ri8-D and Ro8-D units also work in an integrated manner with other professional solutions that have the Dante-MY16-AUD interface card. These include, For example, the M7CL and LS9 digital consoles and the DME64N digital mixing engine. Ri8-D preamps can also be controlled directly from the user interface of a compatible console.

Nick Cook, Director of Marketing at Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems Europe, highlighted that "Ri8-D and Ro8-D have been developed to offer the same level of audio quality as the CL series, but provide even greater flexibility. Inputs and outputs can be arranged exactly where they are needed, which means that our customers can specify and install audio systems that are precisely adapted to the needs of any place or event".
