The Laboratory of Arts of Valladolid (LAVA) will organize the 25 from February to 1 March a workshop on 3D mapping led by Alberto Marcos Cabero.

In the workshop you will learn the technical concepts necessary to make a mapping projection, so that everyone who comes knows how to place the projectors, the management of the production software with which the videos will be released and the characteristics that they must have.

This workshop will have a practical approach, Starting with a brief explanation of the history of mapping aided by examples. Seeing different uses, depending not only on the surface as well as the environment and its interactivity. Following the basics about digital video.

You will consider the difference between mapping and warping as well as learn the methods to measure surfaces. The workshop will be based on the Resolume Arena software 4. You will learn how to place the projectors to adjust them and create a single screen with several of them.

In addition, During the workshop participants will build a facility, creating a specific content projecting it on some surface.
