The Venetian Macao Resort has used Panasonic technology to start up its show "The magic of the seasons", an event of sound and light, where a total of 26 projects DLP were needed to make possible the project of mapping in 3D.
The Venetian Macao Resort has been built taking as inspiration the streets and buildings of the Italian city of Venice. And it is this architecture which is used for the staging of his "Winter in Venice" festival, which this year has been a great show for the opening ceremony, "The magic of the seasons". It is one of the largest mapping projects that have been made that it has been possible thanks to the provided projection systems by Panasonic.
The show Winter in Venice It was designed, created and implemented by the company Laservision, known for his work on attractions, special events, architectural lighting... The staging cost him more than 12,000 hours of production and 35 specialists brought in six different countries.
To create this great architectural work of mapping in 3D requires a large number of high-resolution projectors, and therefore Laservision decided to use the most innovative technology from Panasonic, which was already used in the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
This project of Macao were used for a total of 26 projects DLP PT-DZ21K series of three chips with 20,000 lumens of brightness each combined provided more than half a million lumens of light output. In this way, it was possible to cover the surface of projection of more than 4,000 square metres of the facade of the Venetian Macao resort.
Its origins in Las Vegas
The show that was offered at the resort of Macau had been already carried out in the winter of 2012 in the complex that has this line in Las Vegas and was presented in this city of China thanks to the support offered by the Tourist Office of this Government.
