The Lux Greco Show, organized in mid-July by the City Council of Toledo, has had the participation of Ibercover for the staging of 3D video mapping.

For five years, Toledo City Council organizes Lux Greco, A light and sound show that in this year's edition, held between the 12 and the 20 July, It has had as a great protagonist the video mapping, with powerful and creative animations and audiovisual effects.

This technology has been introduced in this fifth edition by the hand of Ibercover that has been responsible for the direction and production of two of the three video mapping that have been projected, the Teatro de Rojas and the Puerta del Cambrón. The third location has taken place in the emblematic monument of the Hinge.

On the façade of the Teatro de Rojas the projection focused its theme on the life of El Greco, while in the Puerta de Cambrón a 3D video mapping was developed in which an analogy was shown between the architectural and social changes of which the door and the painter were witnesses.

For its part, in the Puerta de Bisagra there was a projection where a journey through the artist's life and his first years in Crete was made., your city of origin, and his time in Italy

For the staging of this light show, Brightness and contrast, Toledo has had four projectors HDQ-2K40 (of 40.000 lumens each) of ship, supplied by BNC AV, and two others from 20.000 Lumens.

Ibercover also had the experience of IdeaDeDos for WatchOut systems.

International Mapping Competition

In addition, director and producer Manuel Horischnik Arbo, co-founder of Ibercover has also been responsible for one of the biggest attractions of this edition: the first International Mapping Competition for young artists. Its objective was to involve young people in the homage to this painter, than in 2014 commemorates the fourth anniversary of his death.

Lux Greco 2012Thanks to this initiative, The event has managed to surpass the 100.000 Visitors, as assured by the Councilor for Culture of Toledo, Jesus Nicholas.

The contest has had more than 70 Works, Envoys from eight different countries. The work of the participants was exhibited, during the nights of the 16 to the 18 July, in the monastery of San Juan de los Reyes.
