Yamaha Corporation Acquires All Digital Audio Manufacturer Line 6

Following the signing of a joint agreement, Yamaha Corporation to Acquire All U.S. Manufacturer Line 6, specialized in solutions for musicians and professional audio equipment.

The purchase operation by Yamaha Corporation from the American manufacturer of digital audio solutions for musicians and professionals Line 6 will be completed at the beginning of 2014, and will expand the portfolio of the multinational of professional audio equipment, with digital modeling guitar amplifiers, multi-effects processors, POD live sound mixers, Speakers, Etc.

Under the terms of the agreement, Yamaha to operate Line 6 as a wholly-owned subsidiary for both brands and both its management and sales team will remain unchanged.
