Jong Wan Lim has been appointed as CEO of Samsung Techwin Europe, after nearly thirty years at the company. Since his new role, Wang hopes to increase share of the security market starting this year.

After more than two decades of dedicating their working lives to the Korean group, Jong Wan Lim has been appointed CEO of the company's security division, Samsung Techwin Europe.

Jong Wan Lim, who has been working on the Samsung Group for some time 26 years, has been project manager for New Business and head of foreign countries. He also led Samsung Techwin's teams in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the countries of the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.

“2014 it's going to be a great year for Samsung Techwin in Europe, Russia and the countries of the former Soviet Union. For me it is a pleasure to lead a team of great professionals who share my enthusiasm to offer our customers the best pre-sales and after-sales care possible, as well as top-level video surveillance solutions”, explains Jong Wan Lim.

Sales of IP network-based solutions have surpassed sales of traditional analog products “and, thanks to the WiseNetIII Full HD IP network range, we've seen a significant increase in our own sales of IP networks, who have proven to enjoy great acceptance among installers and system integrators. I am convinced that we will increase our market share from 2014”, says the company's new CEO.
