The international tourism industry reference contest, Fitur, who will celebrate its edition 2014 of the 22 to the 26 January at IFEMA - Madrid Fair, is the chosen framework to present the Guideo tourist app, developed by Spanish startup Tourism and Cultural Management Swing (pavilion 2, stand 5B08), pioneer in the incorporation of content in augmented reality in this sector.

Guideo is an advanced virtual tour information and visitor assistance guide system, available only for Apple mobile devices and which will soon add Android, incorporating technological innovations in the field of augmented reality, through recreations of scenes and monuments.

With the motto, “Because culture doesn't count, you live”, Nadia Cervera and Luis López, founders of the company Vaivén Gestión Turística y Cultural, presented Guideo App for the city of Cadiz, although they have subsequently added Seville and Malaga and is currently developing for the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Available in Spanish, English and German, the app also has a function . 'offline', so that the user can use the app without a connection, as one more value for today's tourist, "who claims to be able to know fate at his own time, and with the advantage of having up-to-date tourist and cultural information at all times".
