"Boxer 4K30 is an amazing projection platform", underlines J. Vivegananthan, head of engineering at Christie

The participation of the multinational Christie in ISE 2015 has not left the audiovisual industry indifferent, with innovative developments in projection that were presented for the first time in this contest, such as the new Boxer 4K30, whose robust features and functions describe Jeevan Vivegananthan, Senior Director of Engineering – Company Business Products, in this interview for Digital AV Magazine.

The world premiere of the new Boxer 4K30 projector Christie in the recent edition of Ise in Amsterdam has caused the success that was expected by the market, as he assured in the contest itself Jeevan Vivegananthan, Senior Director of Engineering – Christie business products, to Digital AV Magazine (See attached video of the interview), calling it "an amazing new projection platform that offers the power of 30.000 Lumens in a small and compact equipment, with a weight of barely 68 Kg.".

Este trabajo de campo para conocer las necesidades reales de los clientes, en el que la compañía ha invertido mucho tiempo y recursos humanos para tener una radiografía de los sistemas que utilizan o necesitarían en su trabajo de proyección, “se ha materializado en el desarrollo de Boxer 4K30 con gran éxito”.

Christie Boxer 4K30 utiliza sólo energía monofásica, con una baja emisión de ruido de salida. Vivegananthan subraya que una de las características más valoradas por los clientes es “su fácil manejo, ya que dos personas pueden trabajar sin problemas con el equipo, junto con un sistema de menús revisado para simplificar aún más su uso para aquellos que lo utilizan por primera vez”.

In addition, los usuarios habituales de sistemas se proyección pueden sacarle el máximo partido a todas sus funciones y características gracias a la completa gama de prestaciones que ofrece este equipo.

Boxer 4K30 es un equipo omnidireccional, lo que significa que puede orientarse en cualquier dirección para proyectar en la forma requerida de cada cliente e instalación. “Entendemos que las casuísticas de cada uno son variadas, por lo que hemos tratado de desarrollar un equipo modular, de sencillo manejo y con un paquete de innovadoras y robustas prestaciones”, puntualiza el directivo de la multinacional norteamericana.

La plataforma electrónica de alta resolución 4K que, como señala Vivegananthan, “ya ha sido probada en otros equipos de Christie”, permite que Boxer 4K30 pueda atender las necesidades de alta fidelidad y Ultra Alta Definición, ofreciendo una nítida imagen en la pantalla, además de “utilizar workflows HD sin problemas y conectarlo a cualquier fuente HD”.
