Present in Chile from 1978 and with an installation of 250 branches, Banco Santander was looking for a solution for its headquarters in the country that would allow it to monitor, flexibly and dynamically, the transactions that are carried out daily in all the locations of the financial institution.

Monitoring, as a systematic process that allows collection, analyze and use information to track the broad spectrum of transactions an organization may have, is fundamental to the achievement of corporate objectives, as well as to guide the management decisions of the service provided.

Banco Santander de Chile identified the need to innovate and optimize its monitoring room with the installation of a videowall that would allow it to visualize in a holistic and integral way the flow of activity of the entity throughout the country. After making a diagnosis at the Bank's headquarters, Wavetec developed a videowall integrated by 16 professional high-definition monitors ready to operate 24×7, connected to a processor that connects 32 video inputs at once.

In addition, allows the prioritization and focus of certain information, depending on the day or month and interspersing the order of the monitors and /or their grouping.

Some variables that can be projected on the videowall are the status of payments and transfers, Payroll, status of servers throughout Chile, ATM or system errors, among others.

Before installing this system, the bank had a rigid and obsolete monitoring system., that repeatedly turned out to be a limiting factor to monitor what was really wanted, that is why it was decided to go a step further and bet on wavetec's videowall solution that allows more focused monitoring, flexible and adaptable to specific and insurgent demands, prioritizing real demand.
