With a slight improvement in positive end of year, in the case of last index of the business climate in the industry of digital signage and DooH (DBCI) in Spain and Portugal, and a 15% increase in sales of large format screens LFD in the third quarter in EMEA, according to the consulting firm Context, industry shows a satisfactory confidence and a moderate rise in business climate.

Moderate data, but positive for the market of digital signage and DooH, both Iberia and EMEA, provided by two consultants of market: Invidis, with the last index Ovab Europe the climate of business in Digital Signage in Spain and Portugal (DBCI), and Context, with the sales of large format screens.

In the first case, index Ovab Europe lies in 'the region positive scale' the business climate in the Iberian market, although decreasing slightly, going from the 67.5 56,44 points, and almost 60% of the market participants declare themselves satisfied with their current situation and are optimistic in the short term, with more than 80% of the companies which provide for a more favourable situation for their products and services for digital signage and DooH (an area that has experienced a growth in bookings this year of 60%).

As far as distribution is concerned, the index sets relating big four on the market in Spain and Portugal: Tech Data Maverick and Ingram Micro, followed by Charmex and Cramb.

Growth in large format screens

Context consultant located in more than 15 percent growth in units sold more interactive displays of large format LCD in EMEA during the third quarter of the year, compared to same period in 2014, driven by demand for digital signage solutions and larger facilities.

In particular, sales units of 65 '' screens and above grew significantly, with an increase of more than 107% in that period from 2015 on the former, and the interactive displays as a key factor in this increase. For example, in the corporate environment, there has been a great shift towards interactive systems for meeting rooms to encourage collaboration from multiple locations and mobile devices.

Another segment in growth, according to data from Context, there has been in the format of 34 "and below, with a 26% increase in sales from the same quarter to 2014, driven largely by low-cost digital signage solutions, increasingly more popular in commercial (retail) and catering establishments, dynamic display and easy updating of content.

En cuanto proveedores del mercado se refiere, la consultora otorga de nuevo a Samsung la primera posición, con una cuota del 46% en ventas del mercado en el tercer trimestre de 2015, lo que representa un crecimiento superior al 19% con respecto al mismo periodo del año pasado. Le siguen en el ranking NEC Display y LG, con participaciones del 14% y 12% en el mercado, respectivamente.
