The seventh edition of this event, which will take place in Malaga from 5 to October 6, has the co-organization of the Association of companies of electronics, it, telecommunications and digital content to address the news and trends of the integral management of smart cities through tools and technological solutions.
The Director general of the trade fair and Congress Center of Malaga)Fycma), Yolanda Aguilar, and the director general of Association of companies of electronics, information, telecommunications and content (digital) technologiesAMETIC), Benigno Lacort, have signed the collaboration agreement for the co-organization of the next edition of Greencities, Forum of intelligence and urban sustainability, whose seventh edition will be held from 5 to 6 October 2016.
With this agreement consolidates the strategic collaboration in the show, organized by Fycma (dependent of the) Malaga city Council) and AMETIC, in which is includes the celebration of the forum ICT and sustainability, that will address them news and trends related with the management integral of the cities through tools and solutions ICT.
Greencities strengthens this objective of being a meeting point between the business sector and the municipal public demand, with the participation of prominent representatives of public administrations and institutions, associations, professional groups and professional associations related to the building and sustainable rehabilitation, energy efficiency and the development of smart cities with new technologies.
In addition to the exhibition area and the space for networking, which last year carried out around thousand B2B meetings, the Hall host as in past editions to a few hundred speakers from public and private to discuss the challenges, tools and opportunities offered by the progressive implementation of the model smart city in cities, and what this means to improve the competitiveness of enterprises.
In the 2016 Edition of this event, the content and strategic lines of the Conference programme is articulated around ICT & sustainability areas; the Latin American Forum of smart cities and GreenLab, which joins also the program of scientific communications, one of the main Spanish calls for innovation and research within the field of urban sustainability.
Among others, the Inter-American Development Bank)BID) will be present this year at Greencities, through a panel of experts to Extenda-Agencia Andaluza de Promoción Exterior, dependiente de la Consejería de Economía y Conocimiento y golden partner del evento, organiza en el Foro Latinoamericano de Ciudades Inteligentes, integrado en el Foro TIC y Sostenibilidad, además de promover la transferencia de conocimiento entre las entidades andaluzas e internacionales en el espacio GreenLab.
