Eizo Color Edge CG247X

The ColorEdge CG247X monitor from Eizo is the successor to the CG247 and includes a broad set of features specific to video editing and post-production. It is equipped with all the functionalities that characterize Eizo's series of professional CG monitors with color management and many improvements over its predecessor.

It is a team of 24,1 inches with native resolution of 1,920×1.200 able to meet the needs of the entertainment industry and digital mass media.

The wide color gamut reproduces the 98% of the DCI-P3 standard used in digital cinema, this means an increase in the 95% with respect to its predecessor. Preset modes for EBU, Rec. 709, SMTE-C and DCI also ensure editors can work with the appropriate color space and gamma values. Switching between the different modes is done through the buttons on the front of the monitor. additionally, the buttons are backlit with Led to facilitate their visual location in low light environments.

The contrast ratio of the monitor has also been increased from 1000:1 to 1500:11 providing blacks that would otherwise be difficult to display on an LCD monitor. The ColorEdge CG247X is equipped with a retardant film that allows dark tones to retain their depth even when viewed from an angle.

On the other hand, the monitor includes a protective visor from light that effectively prevents glare on the screen caused by ambient light. The visor is newly designed and easily installs to the monitor magnetically.

The ColorEdge CG247X is equipped with a calibration sensor that flies over the display when you're calibrating, eliminating the need for an additional calibration device. Using ColorNavigator software 6 included, you can plan the specific moment when the monitor should self-calibrate, ensuring the consistency of adjustments is maintained.

This computer is compatible with ColorNavigator NX quality control software (QC) offering active customer management on ColorEdge monitors and covering calibration, emulation, integrated sensor correlation and color mode settings. QC management is available with colornavigator network allowing administrators to maintain centralized quality control on both locally located and remote monitors, all hosted on a secure server located in the cloud.
