MMD has released the developments it will release to the market in the coming months of its brands AOC and Philips. Monitors that make resolution a premium, image quality and larger size.

"The monitor market has overcome times of crisis and in recent years has had remarkable growth, with a 16% in the last quarter of the year. We've got a 40%. currently, the trend is geared towards larger teams, above the 24 Inch, and higher resolution. QHD and 4K are starting to have a big role", explains Augustine of the Friars, country manager of MMD Iberia.

The first is a team of 31,5 inches and 4K UHD resolution (3840 X 2160 Pixels) including USB connectivity 3.0; while the second, presents a screen of 27 inches with QHD resolution. Both have ah-IPS panel.

RP MMD Philips AOCFor its part, Philips is committed to the B2B market and has expanded its offering with a new line of equipment for the corporate environment, the M7. This range is available in 21,5, 23,8, 24 and 27 Inch, resolutions ranging from Full HD to 4K. "The top-of-the-range model is the 272P7VPTKEB/00, a computer with IPS panel 27 inches and 4K resolution. However, the newest system is the 258B6QUEB/00, a QHD monitor that incorporates USB-C technology", comments Alfonso Clemente, European head of AOC.

USB-C technology allows all devices to be connected to the monitor via a single cable and, In addition, through it it is possible to charge the laptop battery.

A feature provided by the M7 series is its design in which a camera has been incorporated that may be visible or hidden inside the housing.

Curved monitors

RP MMD Philips AOCAs far as the segment of curved monitors is concerned,, Philips focuses its strategy on the multimedia market, while AOC is heading into the world of video games.

The latter is setting its sights on the Agon line that is made up of monitors that seek to respond to the needs of the most demanding players so they have introduced the latest technologies. "They are teams where quality and speed are combined, and in whose range models have been introduced in curved format. At the end of the year, this line will consist of 13 models that will range from 22 inches up curved screens of 35 inches", clarifies A. clement.

For its part, Philips' newest model is the BDM4037UW, a curved 4K UHD system of 40 inches and slim of 8,9 Mm.
