Empathy course aims to raise awareness about the problem of bullying in classrooms and reduce it by involving students in solving the problem. Coinciding with the celebration of the fair Aula 2017, Which is being held until Sunday at Ifema, Samsung and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport (meca) Subject Empathy presented the project developed under a collaboration agreement between the two entities to combat bullying.
The first action of this project has been the production of a virtual reality video that recreates a case of cyberbullying among adolescents in a school and its resolution by the students themselves. In the video the real and digital world integrates, following language codes with which young people are identified.

La pieza, rodada utilizando la tecnología de realidad virtual, muestra un caso de acoso escolar donde se refleja que tanto el problema como la solución surgen del propio grupo de niños. Su propósito es concienciar a los espectadores ya que, según estudios realizados, el proceso de aprendizaje que se produce a través de una visualización en realidad virtual es de un 90 %, frente a un 5 % que se consigue tan sólo con la lectura.
La historia está narrada desde el punto de vista de uno de los alumnos, testigo del acoso a otro compañero, e incluye elementos familiares para los adolescentes como sus avatares y nicks en redes sociales. A través de la narración se demuestra que el secreto contra el acoso escolar está en el grupo. Además, la tecnología, lejos de ser una herramienta nociva por el mal uso que hacen de ella los acosadores, se convierte en una aliada para acabar con este tipo de comportamientos.

Moreover, within its corporate citizenship program, Samsung develops a plan of awareness about cyberbullying in collaboration with the CNIIE (National Centre for Educational Research and Innovation).
The aim of this collaboration is to build spaces respectful coexistence between students in schools and colleges, based on performance models that have been successful in the Nordic countries, which take into account not only the victim and the harasser, but also the other partners involved as spectators in the attack, as well as the potential of technology for personal development of children.
