Tomorrow opens in Amsterdam, Passenger Terminal Expo (PTE), The international conference and exhibition dedicated to the design of passenger terminals at airports, management, security and technology. An event to be held until March 16 and who attend NEC Display Solutions Europe with its latest display solutions designed for this market.
At its stand (Hall 8, stand 2040) a tour of the airport next generation will be offered, with applications for every need. Attendees will learn how FIDS cloud-based solutions affect the future, and will interact with the signage and will learn the concept of the company to the arrivals area.
NEC offers Mediatecture, the idea of combining digital and physical spaces in one, to meet passenger needs and help airport operators to be profitable.
It will also demonstrate the integration of digital surfaces with architecture, allowing more creativity to advertisers, operators and businesses. Thanks to the modular digital surfaces, NEC is transforming the way digital media at the airport are used. Both architects and designers can explore surfaces of different sizes and shapes to turn them into screens and change the way visual information is presented at the airport.
During this event, will unveil the next generation of the Flight Information Display System (FIDS) platform using Raspberry Pi integrated with screens (for more information Digital AV Magazine); as well as a concept of check-in and arrivals, showing how digital and architecture meet. The solutions provide high resolution to better show branding and airline information and entertain and enhance the traveler experience through the creative use of LED and LCD technologies.
