The international conference on digital transformation Digital Business World Congress (OF), It has closed its second edition exceeding expectations with an attendance of 18,000 participants. The event, which was held in Madrid between 23 and 25 May at the Fairgrounds IFEMAIt has also left an economic impact on the city of more than 34 million euros, derivatives, for the most part, the increase in international visitors.
The profile of attendees of this second edition, has been marked by a strong international presence in countries like UK, USA, Germany, France, Italy and Mexico, of which 17% came from visitors.
One of the most valued by the exhibiting companies has been the quality of the participants, 69% of cases are directors and members of management committees which highlights the importance that companies are giving transformation digital and develop new business models.
The blockchain, with Alex Tapscott most representative, and artificial intelligence have been the protagonists trends of this second edition. Next to them, it has been reviewed present and future of 12 industrial sectors, most notably retail, banking, industry, tourism, health and logistics.
DES2017 has had the support of more than 300 exhibiting companies, among which companies like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Accenture, Deloitte Digital, KPMG, Intel, IBM and Fujitsu have shown their latest releases and technological solutions to attendees during these three days.

Moreover, DES has already announced the dates for the third edition of the event which will take place from 22 to 24 May 2018 and again turn will turn Madrid into the world capital of digital business.
