HP has named its current Vice President of Sales & Marketing in Iberia, Enrique Solbes, as the new Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Services for Spain and Portugal.

blankHewlett Packard has announced the appointment of Enrique Solbes as vice president and general manager of HP Enterprise Services for Spain and Portugal. Solbes replaces Antonio Crespo, recently appointed president of the company in Spain and Portugal, and will lead HP's Services division consisting of more than 4.500 employees dedicated to the Information Technology Outsourcing solutions portfolio (ITO), of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Applications.

Enrique Solbes will report directly to Mike Nefkens, Senior Vice President and Head of HP Enterprise Services, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), who has stated that “Enrique is an excellent example of teamwork and interaction between the different HP business units and demonstrates the importance we place on promoting talented professionals by offering them new challenges.”.

Enrique Solbes has extensive experience in the Information Technology and Telecommunications sector. He started working at an HP software division in Sunnyvale. (California) and later at Accenture. Until now, held the position of Vice President of Sales & HP Marketing in Iberia. formerly, led HP Consulting's business &Integration in Iberia and the Telecommunications and Media sector in EMEA.
