The French company Volfoni, specialized in 3D solutions, has just announced its new 3D active glasses with Advanced Realtime Tracking head-tracking technology (ART) designed specifically for the virtual reality environment.

Volfoni has presented its 3D glasses with head tracking technology designed by Advanced Realtime Tracking (ART). These 3D glasses have been manufactured especially for the virtual reality environment. The collaboration between ART and Volfoni has led to the development of two different sizes of durable and ergonomic head tracking systems., adapted to two different models of Volfoni 3D glasses.

One size is for Volfoni's Edge brand of active 3D glasses. This line of high-quality active glasses has been designed for the first time with infrared synchronization for the cinema. The other size has been developed for Volfoni's ActivEyes Pro, which are special hybrid 3D glasses from Volfoni that work with active and passive 3D screens. These glasses are aimed at professionals working in a multi-3D display environment, as they are one of the lightest active glasses on the market, comfortable for all-day use. ActivEyes can also be synchronized with the radio frequency.

Having ART tracking technology coupled with Volfoni's 3D products is really a big step in the virtual reality dimension for Volfoni. The experience created represents a spectacular immersion in virtual reality, with clear and bright 3D images, and a high level of comfort. Professionals who are dedicated to developing virtual reality have welcomed this new product with great enthusiasm and confidence..

Bernard Mendiburu, Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Volfoni, pointed out that “Volfoni products facilitate virtual reality applications. With Volfoni 3D glasses, RF synchronization leaves ir spectrum free for the tracking system. On the other hand, we are very excited to discover all the possible applications of these programmable glasses”.

Within its range of technological advances, Volfoni has other tools tailored to the needs of specific consumers, like the ActivHub Pro, a universal 3D emitter that functions as a 3D translator between the DLP-Link, the IR, VESA and RF protocols. It also offers a 3D synchronization analyzer mode to facilitate synchronization in complex installations.
