Chinese consumer electronics supplier TCL has unveiled the world's largest 3D-compatible 4K TV. It features 110 inch screen and is based on LED backlight technology.

The Chinese company TLC has launched the TCL 4K2K, a screen that has a dimension of 110 pulgadas basada en tecnología de retroiluminación LED y con la posibilidad de poder reproducir contenido 3D. China Star Optoelectronics Technology, TCL unit dedicated to the television panel segment, has been responsible for the development of the world's largest 4K TV.

Li Dongsheng, President and CEO of TCL Corporation, has pointed out: "The successful launch of the world's largest LED with 110 screen inches, high-definition, 3D technology once again demonstrates TCL's research and development capabilities.".

The new team has almost 2,5 base metres and a total area of 3,34 m2. The LED has a native resolution of 4K HD – 4K2K resolution (4096 X 2160 Pixels), with great image quality and 800nits brightness. The device also has a multi-touch panel and is compatible with 3D technology.
