The company of Swedish origin will show this new device at the trade fair ASIS International 2012, held in Philadelphia (Us.) of the 10 to the 13 September.

Axis Communications has expanded its portfolio of network cameras with a new fixed mini dome of 3 megapixels, resistant to vandalism and dust, and with wide-angle vision and 1080p HDTV. AXIS M3006-V Indoor Network Camera easy to install is designed to meet video surveillance needs in price-sensitive market segments, such as retail stores, Hotels, schools and offices.

The camera offers wide coverage, images of 3 Megapixels for gorgeous detail and HDTV 1080p for clear motion capture. Has a large capacity for intelligent video applications, support for video management software such as the complementary AXIS Camera Companion and allows quick installation on walls or ceilings, all at a very good price. “

AXIS M3006-V offers a viewing angle of 134 °. When installed near a corner of a store, For example, offers complete coverage, allowing users to see even on the shelves on both sides of the camera. Other viewing angles can be achieved through optional lenses.

AXIS M3006-V supports digital pan/tilt/zoom, which can be used as a “digital varifocal lens” allowing you to adjust the viewing angle remotely after physical installation. The digital PTZ camera, along with its support for multi-view streaming, permite recortar diferentes áreas de una escena a partir de la vista completa y emitirla simultáneamente para ver o grabar, simulating multiple virtual cameras that can help minimize bitrate and storage needs. Multiple sequences in H.264 and Motion JPEG can be sent simultaneously.

The camera is centered from the factory, reducing installation time. It has a network cable of 2 meters installed and supports Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af), that eliminates the need for power cables and reduces installation costs. To allow the camera to better camouflage with the environment, optional covers are available.

AXIS M3006-V provides substantial support for installing intelligent video applications via AXIS Camera Application Platform. In addition, Built-in microSDHC card slot allows you to locally store several days of recording on the memory card. When local storage is used in conjunction with the free AXIS Camera Companion, users have an easy way to view and manage video up to 16 cameras per site.

AXIS M3006-V is compatible with other video management software such as AXIS Camera Station and third-party applications through the Axis Application Development Partner program. In addition, camera supports hosted video and ONVIF for easy camera system integration.
