The provider of high-performance cabling and connectivity solutions C2G has incorporated to its catalog of digital signage solutions the distribution options TruLink VGA on Cat5, TruLink HDMI over Cat5 and TruLink High Speed HDMI via Active Optical Cable.

C2G has announced that it has expanded its portfolio of digital signage solutions. The company ensures that it aims to respond to the needs of current corporate and educational configurations by combining the existing architecture with the latest technologies in digital signage solutions and multiple options for signal extension.. C2G's portfolio of digital signage solutions supports analog and digital distribution options with its TruLink products: AV over Cat5 line including analog or VGA and digital or HDMI over Cat5 and high-speed HDMI via active optical cable.

TruLink VGA over Cat5 extends VGA and audio signals up to 152 meters on Cat5 cables, Cat5e or Cat6 without signal degradation. This solution is compatible with any operating system and does not require drivers or software. Transmitter and receiver are available on the wall plate or in interchangeable box form factors, allowing users to choose the most suitable design for the digital signage application. This product line is currently available on VGA, vga + audio from 3,5 Mm, vga + audio from 3,5 Mm + RS232 port, single port, and 4 harbours.

TruLink HDMI over Cat5 is the latest addition to the portfolio offered by C2G. This solution extends HDMI signals up to 91 meters on a solid conductor, or Cat5e or Cat6 cables without signal degradation. Compatible with any operating system and requires no drivers or software. Power can be supplied from a single power supply located in the transmitter or final receiver. This solution uses HDBaseT technology and offers digital connectivity options that can be combined with analog solutions, as VGA, vga + audio from 3,5 Mm, and VGA + audio from 3,5 Mm + RS232 port for installations where analog and digital signals are required.

TruLink High Speed HDMI over Active Optical Cable Provides Another Option for Transmitting High Definition Signals Over Long Distances. The TruLink HDMI AOC offers several unique advantages over copper cabling: the diameter of the cable is much smaller and more flexible than that of copper, providing easy installation for tight wall spaces. Fiber strand construction reduces EMI risk / RFI, so performance is stable and designed for use in data centers, surgical rooms, manufacturing facilities, as well as any other applications where a reliable system and high-resolution screen at a distance of up to 20 meters is critical. The cable supports a Full 1080p resolution in lengths of 10 meters and 20 meters and will soon be available in lengths of up to 100 metre, as indicated by the company.

Jamie Pratt, General Manager EMEA C2G, Reviewed: “The variety of options for the extension and distribution of analog and digital AV signals makes it easier for everyone to meet current and future needs with reliable and flexible solutions”.
