Fifty interactive touch panels of the IB-Tech company will be from now on the tourist and multilingual digital claim in the municipality of Marbella.
The Town Hall of Marbella will install a total of fifty interactive touch panels (there are three active) in the coming weeks of the Málaga-based company IB-Tech, won the contest, which will be distributed by the municipality.
Digital tourist signage project is pioneer in Spain, according to the Mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, "whose goal is that anyone who visit us may have access to all the information and all activity that occurs in Marbella", as well as one more step towards the transformation of Marbella as smart city.
The information provided on these panels there are maps, information of the hotel infrastructure of the city, restaurants, shops and hospitals; telephones of interest, as well as the whole range of leisure and culture.
For the moment, the information available is offered in Spanish and English, but soon it will enrich with more languages, such as French, German and Russian.
For Carlo Caporaletti, CEO of IB-Tech, whose headquarters is in the of Malaga locality of Antequera, "this initiative Marbella is positioned as a digital and smart city with a technological project tourism unique in Spain".
Three interactive panels, managed by the urban furniture group GMG company through its subsidiary image Andalusia, have been installed at the moment and in the next few weeks will be displayed the 47 remaining so that the project is fully operational before the summer.
