Mall of the Emirates of Dubai has replaced its previous videowall 4 × 4 one 9 × 6 composed of 54 55-inch Samsung LCD screens. Matrox Mura MPX series cards manage your digital signage content.
Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, one of the largest malls in Middle East, boasts a large videowall screen, which is controlled by the card 54 Matrox Mura MPX Series. Installed by the local Integrator Almoe AV Systems, the videowall, located at 11 meters above the ground, it shows digital signage content aimed at the 30 million customers who visit the Mall each year.
Before the implementation of this project, the mall had a video wall of 4 × 4 and what they wanted was to improve this system of digital signage for one more big and that offered better performance. With this objective, Almoe AV systems and its partner Mediasys settled a 9 × 6 composed of 54 monitors LCD videowall Samsung 55 inch. In addition, the Mura MPX series NICs in a system 4U of Matrox have joined mission capture and display the contents of digital signage in the videowall. The system consists of solutions Mura MPX-4/2, Mura MPX-4/0 with which it is possible to monitor the 53 screens that make up the walls.
Mura MPX cards are controlled remotely by the OpenScreen Mura MPX Wall Controller management software. The content of the videowall is also managed remotely using Scala digital signage and the Samsung MagicInfo software platform.
His support of universal input allows capture and display of content from digital signage from external sources, such as Blu-ray disc player that is currently used. Mura MPX also account with HDCP compliance, so the content is copy-protected, either a Blu-ray player or from other sources such as digital cable or satellite decoders.
