Vivotek's NR8401 NVR is designed to be rack-mounted, supporting the connection of video surveillance cameras up to 16 canals. It is scalable and allows remote management through the web.

The network video recorder (Network Video Recorder -NVR) NR8401 Vivotek allows rackmount of 16 Linux channels. Operate independently of a PC, providing a stable and efficient recording system, with a wide range of functionalities for network management and configuration systems. This equipment is compatible with all vivotek network video surveillance cameras.

Unlike traditional DVRs, an NVR can connect directly to other network devices over the Internet. Vivotek's NR8401 system is an enhanced version of previous NVR products that can not only be directly connected to Vivotek's Vast management software, it is also compatible with the iViewer application, allowing remote access to the device through handheld devices.

Real-time monitoring, recording and data management can be done simultaneously through the web browser interface. In addition, the NR8401 is equipped with dewarp web console functionality and supports 1Owarping modes, 1P and 1R for fisheye cameras.

Vivotek NR8401The NR8401 NVR incorporates two RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports and offers multiple network configuration modes to avoid the risk of information loss, including standalone mode, failover and load balancing.

To facilitate backup processes, on the front panel there is a button that with a single touch allows you to save the information or restore settings. The storage capacity of the NVR can be expanded to a maximum of 12 TB across four hard drives. Supports RAID 0/1/5 for the protection and duplication of video data. Designed with DI/DO functionalities, external sensors or alarms can be added to a security solution.
