Sunny Lee, until now Vice President global visual display sales and marketing at Samsung Electronics of Seoul, has been appointed President and CEO of this Korean multinational in Europe, coinciding with the beginning of Samsung European Forum 2014 than held for the first time in Spain, specifically in Málaga, until the 7th of February.
The new President and European CEO of Samsung Electronics, Sunny Lee, replaces the President in Office SP Kim, who will be the new chief marketing officer and global head of B2B of the multinational.
Sunny Lee will lead now Samsung Electronics Europa, which has 18 subsidiaries in twenty-seven European markets. The focus of this directive will be increase business on the Mainland and maintain growth in the area of consumption, with premium home, TVs, mobile devices and tablets.
As noted Sunny Lee, "the picture in Europe is showing signs of improvement and is a very exciting time for Samsung. Our mission in Europe is to continue to bear the brand to leadership, improving the lives of our consumers, both at work and in their homes, with superior products and the best content. We also committed to supporting communities in creating new jobs and Europe carrying out investments".
During his thirty years of experience in Samsung, Sunny Lee has held various positions of responsibility in the company, where prior to his appointment as President and European CEO, held the position of Vice President global visual display and sales marketing of the company in Seoul. Between 2009 and 2012, Lee was President of Samsung Electronics Germany.
