The shopping centre of L'Aljub, located in the Alicante town of Elche, has installed in its main square the largest interactive LED screen of an establishment of this type in Spain to date: 52 m² of visual modules with PH7 resolution of Europe LED.

Customers of the shopping center of L'Aljub de Elche now have a new attraction to improve their visit and shopping experience in this large area, with video viewing, Reports, news and promotions in the 'Megascreen' installed in its central square, in addition to enjoying interactive games with the mascot of the center 'Aljubito', augmented reality and motion capture.

This interactive LED display, from the alicante supplier Europe LED, with its 52 m² in size, has become the largest visual panel installed so far in a shopping center in Spain. This was pointed out during its inauguration by Florentino Fernández, managing director of L'Aljub: "We are pioneers in offering our customers this new leisure option with which we create an alternative virtual square to the central square of the center".

The new interactive giant screen, that from now on will be part of the daily activity of this shopping center, will also offer videos provided by Visitelche (Elche City Council with the aim of promoting the city among the thousands of foreign buyers who visit this commercial area.

'Megascreen' is an indoor LED screen, specifically the model SMD3528 supplied by the company Europa LED, specially designed for high-definition indoor applications, with 7,62 pixel pitch to offer a PH7 resolution. The LEDs of this modular system (63×32) are encapsulated using the technology standard 3 in 1 Smd 3528, allowing each unit of light emission to conclude in three colors: red, blue green.

In this sense, the screen shows up to 1,07 billions of colors, with a brightness of 1200cd/m², for real-time visualization of both static and dynamic images. This system can receive both the traditional VGA video signal, DVI and HDIM with high definition, VCD and DVD TV show signal and live scenes.

Megascreen center L-AljubAt its recent inauguration, the past 15 March, those responsible for the L'Aljub shopping center mounted a big party inspired by the film saga 'Star Wars', which began with the parade of the 'Legion 501 Spanish Garrison' and an official act enlivened by the Brass Quintet, formed by students of the Professional Conservatory of Music of Elche, who performed pieces from the soundtrack of this film, in line with the exhibition 'Memorabilia Star Wars' that visitors can enjoy until the next 29 March.

Another surprise of this event has been the laser swords app, a game simulates the interior of a spaceship, in which the player will have a laser sword with which he has to destroy some spheres, while avoiding stepping on the illuminated tiles, and shown on the 'Megascreen'.
