Salon gathered news of 224 companies from 25 countries and received the visit of 8.138 professionals. The success of the 60 workshops, with more than 3,000 attendees, as well as the wide range of presentations by participating companies configured a context of sectoral dynamism.
From 20 to 22 may, Feria de Madrid hosted BIT Broadcast 2014, the call for reference of the audiovisual industry, which gathered the proposals and news from 224 companies from 25 countries and visit 8.138 professionals.
In a first assessment, participating companies have been very satisfied with the results which, in some cases, have proved above expectations. Practitioners have also appreciated the high qualification of visitors, as well as the new format of the lounge which has combined with multiple activities focused trade show to share knowledge and experiences.
In this chapter, we must highlight the success of the program of 60 workshops, organized in collaboration with the magazine Panorama Audiovisual, with an attendance of over 3,000 professionals.
The workshops, developed in a format of just half an hour's duration each, counted with the participation of high-level experts who shared their projects and experiences on issues of great interest and news about catchment, study, IPTV, broadcast, radio, cinema, post-production, production and other AV solutions in professional environments.
The contents of BIT Broadcast was completed with a wide range of presentations carried out by the participating companies at their stands, which offered to the visitor content and practical and detailed information on innovations and solutions of greater impact.
Product demonstrations, interactive presentations, talks, workshops, training sessions and masterclass, to live performances in a study of radio with live broadcast to show the applications of new technologies and virtual sets of television, made this edit a context of great dynamism in line with the perception of sectoral revival that starred in the three days of BIT Broadcast.
Hall also was the scene for the delivery of the I Awards overviewconvened by the journal Panorama Audiovisual, in recognition of excellence, technological development and innovation of businesses, professionals and productions in television, film, radio and advertising. The gala, held on opening day of BIT Broadcast brought together about 400 professionals in the South Auditorium of IFEMA.
