On the occasion of the presentation of the book and film 'Catalunya des del cel', the photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, and the inauguration of the exhibition by the Catalan Agency of tourism, itglass has developed an app for Google Glass which allows you to interact with exposed images.

Itglasstartup specializing in the development of apps for Google Glass, just submit a new application for the Catalan Agency of tourism on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition in the gardens of the Palau Robert in Barcelona of the prestigious photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, and the presentation of his book and film 'Catalunya des del cel' (Catalonia from the sky).

Thanks to this application for Google Glass, visitors can interact with 44 air images of Catalonia that compose the exhibition, in addition to receiving suggestions for different activities and nearby sightseeing tours, all through from the function of image recognition. Also activates the function of radar with directions to get to them.

With an innovative strategic vision to the bet on the wearable technologies, itglass bases its business model in the development of solutions turnkey for customers (already have submitted apps to national and international companies from various sectors business), as well as in the creation of their own products or applications.

Laboratory of ideas and training

Itglas LabIn this sense, this company has created the so-called itglas Lab, a laboratory of ideas that already has more than a dozen developers. Thanks to this initiative, students of computer engineering from different universities discusses possible uses of Google Glass and receive advice and training, both in the development and programming of apps as about this intelligent device which allows them to gain experience in the business world.

In this regard, and on the occasion of the start of the new academic year, the company has been present in the Espai Emprèn (entrepreneurial space) of the Faculty of Informatics of the University UPC of Barcelona, with activity around the development of apps for Google Glass in which involved more than 30 programmers who will join the existing team.
