The BE 6000S all-in-one platform, the TelePresence IX5000 range and the Project Squared app, that makes it easier to connect computers in the Cloud, are Cisco's new bets in the collaborative environment.

Cisco IX5000

The collaborative ecosystem of culm has been complemented by three new solutions that make it easier to use in organizations of all sizes. The Business Edition 6000S platform, the IX5000 telepresence system and the application for distributed work teams Project Squared are the new proposals.

Cisco Business Edition 6000Specially designed for SMEs, Business Edition 6000S (BE6000S) is an all-in-one collaboration platform built on an integrated Cisco router. Simple to implement and highly scalable, provides business-class voice capabilities, video, instant messaging and presence for companies between 25 and 150 Users.

These collaboration capabilities combined with the Cisco model 2921 Integrated Services Router (isr) provide routing services, security and wireless connectivity in a single solution. Available for early 2015, the BE6000S platform includes installation wizards that make it easy to deploy and maintain, and reduce TCO.

For companies with a higher number of users or growth projection, Cisco has a simple migration to the Business Edition platform 6000, protecting initial investment and facilitating business scalability, depending on each need.

Cisco TelePresenceTelePresence IX5000

The TelePresence IX5000 range is a telepresence system composed of three screens of 70 inches with multimedia capabilities that provide a high-quality video collaboration experience for between 6 and 18 Users, using half the bandwidth of previous models, thanks to H.265 compression, and consuming less than 10 Amps.

Its combination of four 4K cameras allows you to capture the entire room in ultra high definition images, facilitating a smooth transition between the planes thanks to its graphic processing, in addition to digitally correcting the images that are shared. The result is a crisp viewing of the content without the need for additional cameras, with the novelty that different presentations can be projected simultaneously on any of its three screens.

When it comes to audio, Incorporates 18 Speakers, a subwoofer and a microphone with 17.502 micro-slots and beam-forming technology to capture sound clearly. Your total cost of ownership is lower than previous models, partly due to lower broadband and energy consumption, and the shortest deployment time.

The IX5000 range is completed with other features such as connecting to the laptop via WiFi, thanks to WebEx's integration with telepresence systems. If you do not use WebEx, the system features a universal video adapter that offers connections for any Mac device or PC and is hidden when it is not needed.

Cisco Project SquaredProject Squared

This collaboration offer is completed with Project Squared, a business app that combines chat, audio, video, multiconference and content sharing, responding to the demands of distributed teams who want to be connected regardless of their location.

Built on Cisco Collaboration Cloud, platform designed to facilitate the collaboration experience aligned with the Cisco Intercloud strategy, joins the physical conference room with the virtual world.

With an intuitive design and accessible from any device, workers can download the app, start a virtual meeting room and invite other users to join with their name or email address. Already in the living room, participants can share messages, files or make voice and video calls securely. And thanks to the collaboration with Box, files and messages are processed in the Cloud with end-to-end encryption and are available without downloading, in addition to being able to share the content of personal Box accounts.

Project Squared works on web browsers, so that users can log in from any computer, no VPN needed, uses mobile notifications to connect with users whenever they want and integrates with other business tools widely used as calendars, Active Directory, WebEx or Box.
