To achieve this demanding certification, the team surpassed hundreds of tests in the laboratory of THX to certify compliance with the rigorous standards of performance required and ensure that the visual content was equal to which its author conceived to produce it.

JVC has announced that its projector DLA-Z1 already has 4 K THX certification, certifying it as the first team from the market to obtain the highest rating for a team of these characteristics by the Consortium THX, having overcome not only tests 4 K , but also the corresponding to THX HD.

The new JVC DLA-Z1 features a new D-ILA device native 4K and a source laser with dynamic control of light intensity to provide high-brightness and high-contrast images.

To achieve THX certification, the projector had to overcome hundreds of tests in the laboratory of THX, developed to prove compliance with the rigorous standards of performance required by the consortium to ensure that the visual content It responds perfectly to what its author conceived to produce it.

As part of this certification, the projector has several specific display modes THX for almost cinematic performance. For that combines a new D-ILA device native 4K technology laser BLU-Escent of JVC, providing a level of 3,000 lumens brightness and an operational life of 20,000 hours. In addition, the new laser light source dynamically controls light intensity to generate an infinite dynamic contrast.

In addition, the team is compatible HDR and incorporates a new high resolution objective developed specifically for applications 4K and a filter for images of cinema which accommodates a wider color spectrum.
