The interior of the Gothic nave of the temple is the scene of the impressive live show of this visual artist, that uses a complex light control system, with more than sixty projectors, and music created for this occasion.

more than 5.000 people have been able to enjoy 'Transfiguració de la nau' (Transfiguration of the ship), the immersive show created by visual artist Xavi Bové this summer, as already advanced Digital AV, to celebrate the 600 Anniversary of the Gothic nave of the Cathedral of Girona (Girona), with which he transformed the interior of this space through a hypnotic interaction between lights and live music.

This show, which has been part of the commemorative events organized by the Girona City Council (Girona Town Hall) to commemorate the anniversary, It has had a complex system of control of lights -with more than sixty projectors- accompanied by music created for the occasion and performed by an orchestra with strings (Four violins, two violas and two cellos), a piano and the cathedral organ.

Under the direction of Xavi Bové and the musical composition of Zinkman, In this unique work for all audiences they have collaborated in the lighting and creative design Onionlab, with companies Lightlumina and BTM as technical suppliers and sound Studies 44.1 and the collaboration of Gustavo Torres Mendoza.

Structured in four parts corresponding to an equal number of musical movements with a duration of twenty-two minutes: introspection, research, Transfiguration and fulfillment, The show merges synchronous electronic sounds with lights.

The different technologies are the great allies in this project, in order to design a complex real-time luminaire control system, to create the different sensations throughout the show. In addition, attention is paid to the different details of the architecture, with the configuration of a delicate choreography of lights.

This proposal also included an installation visible from the outside of the Cathedral of Girona, as a reference of the architectural heritage of the city. This show can be adapted to other locations, even outdoors.
