A collaboration that also shares Iñigo Aznar, commercial director of Atletico Madrid, noting that "having a partner like Telefonica in the Metropolitan Wanda is a guarantee. This level agreements make a difference in the experience of our fans".
Telefónica has endowed this sports complex of the entire infrastructure of communications and connectivity in the stadium and all associated facilities, as the ICU (Integral control unit), the videomarcadores and ribbon board 360's LG, lifts, security (access control in the interior of the stadium, closed circuit TV, video surveillance cameras), as well as in the halls of audiovisual production, among other many dependencies.
The installation of this equipment is already underway and has been by far the network deployment multiservice Ian (electronic network that allows you to provide connectivity to the stadium) and WiFi, with more than 6,000 outlets network; 1,500 wireless access points; 1,000 kilometers of fiber; nearly 500 kilometers of UTP cable; two data (CPD) processing centers; 84 communications nodes; a double access diversified MacroLAN up to 10 GB symmetrical; a switching equipment and other transmission.
In addition, the Wanda Metropolitan security requirements include a system of access control, which covers more than 300 inner doors; its integration with the exhaust system and fires of the stadium; closed-circuit television (CCTV), composed of more than 120 cameras in network, and anti-intrusion system complete the stadium, all managed from the security integral control unit, provided by Telefónica.
As noted from the operator, "this is the first phase of a project that includes in the near future provide a comprehensive customer in the field of communications experience and to cover all events, not just the sports".
