Two outdoor two-way sound projectors, a new Class D multichannel amplifier, along with new Dante interfaces that expand its BlueLine range are the novelties.
The professional installation and audio division of Equipson, Work Pro Audio, has developed new sound reinforcement products, recently introduced during his participation in ISE 2019, which include two outdoor sound projectors and a multichannel amplifier.
For external applications such as theme parks, water parks, shopping malls, train stations and stadiums, the novelty is the WSF 500 CX and WSF 10 CX Plus models, two-way passive sound projectors, full range, which offer great intelligibility of voice and musical clarity.
With 1,000W and 300W, respectively, both equipments incorporate 10" diameter transducers and 2.5" coils in a bass reflex enclosure. The high frequencies are reproduced by a 1" compression motor with a 1.75" coil and an 80-60" horn, providing uniform coverage across the entire vocal range.
Elegant and discreet in design, both acoustic projectors feature a black or white fiberglass enclosure, weatherproof and withstand adverse environmental conditions.
They also incorporate an aluminum grille, with a water-repellent protective fabric and four-pole electrical connection cables, which enter the enclosure through a cable gland to prevent water, dust and moisture from damaging the transducers.
The 500CX is a low-impedance sound projector, while 10 CX Plus is available for low or high impedance and includes a 120Wrms 100V line transformer, especially suitable for installations where long cable runs are required.
In addition, Work Pro Audio adds to its PA 8150 portfolio, a class D amplifier with Led indicators and independent volume control on its eight channels, suitable for installations such as restaurants and spaces where sound must be individually controlled in different spaces.
With up to 150W per channel power and a total output power of 1,040W, the PA 8150 amplifier has several protections, such as short-circuit, thermal, ultrasonic and RF, and fits perfectly into a 1HU 19" rack.
In addition, Equipson has expanded its BlueLine range of network audio products for installation with the new Dante DD2 and DD4 interfaces, which make it easy to extract analog signals from the Dante network, as well as introduce analogue channels within the same network.
Both devices can be configured with the Dante controller, use 3.5mm Euroblock connectors and have balanced inputs and outputs to provide greater noise immunity that interferes with audio signal lines.
