With the arrival of Led technology to the stage lighting sector, large spaces are replacing their equipment with greener options, that reduce the energy expenditure of light and air conditioning, in addition to expanding the creative possibilities in terms of the use of color.

Sometimes, for theaters and auditoriums this is not a simple change since they have a large equipment of conventional luminaires that have meant an important investment. The move to Led technology becomes a process that can take years, in which both technologies will coexist for long periods.

This is the case of the Calderón Theatre of Valladolid, that has decided to prepare its installation so that both the Led and the conventional luminaires work optimally during the coming years. To do this, have had the solutions of Etc and its official distributor in Spain, Stonex.

On the other hand, Stonex has worked for the improvement in the control infrastructure, adding Ethernet lines, fiber optics for wireless control and DMX, giving the Calderón Theater greater versatility.
