New digital signage modules form a gigantic display, of 457 meters long, suspended to more than 27 meters high above this iconic pedestrian shopping street.

The famous and commercial Fremont Street Experience, turned into a downtown Las Vegas tourist attraction (Nevada – USA USA) for which thousands of tourists, has renewed the digital signage system that covers this famous street.

The audiovisual specialist Watchfire Signs has announced that it has completed the last phase of this project with the shipment of the rest of the digital signage modules to complete this large digital cover, that forms a screen of 457 meters long and is suspended more than 27 meters above this pedestrian shopping street.

With this renovation, the gigantic screen is seven times brighter and four times sharper than the one it had until now, so that passers-by will have an optimal display of the promotions, announcements, Videos, Etc. even during the strongest daylight hours of the day.

blankAs Steve Harriott explained, President and CEO of Watchfire Signs, "We had to be very creative to develop a unique product that would meet all the distinctive needs of Fremont Street., including trimmed modules that fit the shape of the awning and withstand extreme desert conditions. Market interest in this new product has been very high and will soon be used in other projects.".

In addition, Watchfire Signs digital modules feature perforations to allow daylight and air circulation, which helps disperse heat and illuminate the street below in this DooH installation.

For this project, Watchfire Signs has manufactured and supplied 12.077 square meters of digital signage. The awning has been designed with more than 67.000 Modules, composed of 49 millions of LeDs.

A total of 1.054 sub-racks, that contained 64 modules each, have been installed in different phases so that Fremont Street remained open during the technological update, as they have pointed out from the company.
