LG presents at CES 2020 its new range of 8K TVs

At this fair in Las Vegas has unveiled a total of eight models in formats of 77 and 65 Inch. The new range includes Signature OLED 8K TVs, models 88/77 OLED ZX and the new NanoCell range 75/65.

The assistance of Lg to ESC 2020, which is being held in Las Vegas until the 10 January, is marked by the presentation of its new range of 8K TVs. At this fair has unveiled a total of eight models in formats of 77 and 65 Inch, which are added to the existing sizes of 88 and 75 Inch.

The new range includes LG Signature OLED 8K TVs, both in 88 as in 77 Inch, models 88/77 OLED ZX and the new LG NanoCell range with models 75/65 Nano99, 75/65 Nano97, 75/65 Nano95. All of them exceed the Consumer Technology Association's 8K Ultra HD standards (CTA) and the validation of independent laboratories such as TÜV Rheinland.

These computers play native 8K content to 60 Fps, via HDMI and USB, including HEVC codecs, VP9 and AV1. They are certified to provide 8K 60P via HDMI.

In addition, offer higher performance thanks to the AI processor α (Alpha) 9 Gene 3 and with the machine learning feature, the image and sound quality of any content is improved with the 8K converter with AI. It analyzes the content and applies features such as Quad Step Noise Reduction and Sharpness Enhancer to increase the resolution and achieve the perfection of 8K.

LG's new 8K TVs feature AI Picture Pro from the α9 Gen processor 3 that manages to recognize faces and texts on the screen, producing more natural and real skin tones, well-defined facial features and clearer and readable characters so that immersion and reality is complete.

the processor automatically identifies the type of content being viewed and automatically applies the most appropriate image characteristics, ensuring the best image quality in the four main television genres: my e, sport, animation and standard.

These TVs also feature LG's AI Sound Pro that manages to analyze and classify the audio of the content into five categories (music, my e, sport, drama and news) to play more accurate voices and a more real ambient sound. Thanks to this quick identification, spoken words are isolated and their volume is increased, which facilitates the easy understanding of the spectators and a complete immersion is achieved.
