Avixa (The Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association) is the international association representing the audiovisual industry worldwide; organizadora de certámenes internacionales como InfoComm and co-organizer of the Integrated Systems Europe fair (Ise).

Founded in 1939, Avixa has more than 11.400 limbs, business and individual, including manufacturers, system integrators, distribution companies, of live events, of content, Consultants, Programmers,... from more than eighty countries.

This is what Yoav Slimobich points out, regional manager Iberia at Avixa: "we are a non-profit association that represents the audiovisual industry around the world, we organize fairs and are co-organizers of Integrated Systems Europe".

Precisely from the data of their participation in this last contest, Slimobich highlights the positive response of the sector. "We have invited ISE 2020 to more than fifty end customers, with them we celebrate a special meeting to introduce them to the audiovisual industry. We also met with more than twenty-five system integrators from all over Spain.".

The contribution of this association to the audiovisual industry is clear and manifest, as Slimobich assures: "the main system integrators around the world are members of Avixa".

In fact, at ISE 2020 invited 180 students from European universities, of which eight and two professors belonged to academic institutions in Spain, as the Polytechnic University of Valencia, the University of Vigo and the University of Malaga.

Avixa's work in Spain is also increasingly important, with the organization of different career guidance workshops for students, "in which both members of the association participate, as telecommunications engineers specialized in image and sound. In addition, we are very happy with the arrival of ISE in Barcelona in 2021", Emphasizes Slimobich.

For its part, Rodrigo Casassus, senior director of development Latin America and Caribbe at Avixa, highlights the initiative they presented at ISE 2020: Digital Art Challenge, the challenge of digital art so that "throughout the year we receive applications from students, enterprises, digital design schools... that will begin to be part of what we do, which is all digital technology in equipment".

For this challenge, professionals and creators of digital content have to present one-minute videos, which will later be selected and displayed on a large screen during ISE 2021 in Barcelona. "The goal is to extract the best of the creative world so that they integrate their designs into the equipment that we can offer next year at ISE".
